Interview with Biljana Milojkovska

Post by bitheerani319 »

In the series of women who are an inspiration, we never leave out MA Pharm. Biljana Milojkovska. She is the owner of one of the most modern individual pharmacies in Skopje - Lifeline Pharmacy. Biljana, as a wife, mother and owner of her own business, breaks all stereotypes about women and their "impossible" balance between career and private life.

1. The story of your takeover of Lifeline Pharmacy is known only to a few, would you like to share it with us?

A : That was 6 years ago, 2015 to be exact . The pharmacy that I own today has always been my home pharmacy, and the owner at the time, otherwise a wonderful person with great experience worthy of respect, we rcs data cambodia to joke that if she ever decided to sell the pharmacy, she should offer it to me first, knowing my desire for my own pharmacy even though at the time I was doing something very different from managing such a healthcare institution. When she told me the decision to sell it, I accepted to take it over without thinking. The love and energy were too great and the story began to be written, and it continues to this day, thanks to my perseverance, but of course the diligence of the other employees in the pharmacy.

2. You have a beautifully designed pharmacy interior, what was your inspiration for the design and what did you want to achieve with it?

A: Aesthetics and details have always been a part of me and still are, you either have the feeling for it or you don't. During some of my travels outside our country, I have always been amazed by beautifully arranged pharmacies that were very different from ours. The impressions of the appearance of those pharmacies were my inspiration for what my pharmacy looks like today. In fact, it has always been a challenge for me to make the pharmacy I manage resemble a modern pharmacy, similar to the pharmacies I have seen outside the country. I knew exactly what I wanted and with the help of an experienced architect, the idea was realized and the pharmacy is what it is now. However, I still know how to upgrade it with novelties on the subject of interior design , because a client served in a beautiful environment has always been, is and will be one of our priorities in our work.

3. If you had to rank the competencies of a pharmacy in an environment like Skopje, what would you prioritize:

-location

-space

-frame

-supply

-factor X?

A: I would definitely rank the location first, and experience tells me the same. Supply and staff are also very important factors for a good rating of a pharmacy in an environment like ours. The space is a place that, with a little creativity, can become attractive in which everyone would feel comfortable. However, there is also the X factor , which is pharmaceutical care, which includes communication and interaction between the pharmacist and the patient, in which the pharmacist needs to identify and assess all important health aspects that need to be paid attention to in each patient individually.
