Goals and objectives of the balanced scorecard

The main task of using a balanced scorecard is to detail the strategic goals of a business and transfer them to the level of solving operational tasks. BSC contains a set of tools and methods for achieving remote settings in the process of ongoing activity.
This system combines management, monitoring and control of indicators, personnel incentives, training and promotion of employees, that is, it is a complex of systems important for business.
Objectives of the Balanced Scorecard Tasks of the Balanced Scorecard
– Track performance indicators
– Compare current business results with planned ones
– Define important ios database strategic goals, performance indicators, KPI deadlines
– Assign responsibilities and distribute tasks in a balanced manner
– Adjust key indicators if planned results are overstated
– Find and apply tools to achieve set goals
So, what should a balanced scorecard define: the company's goals and the timeframe for achieving them. A person responsible for each task is assigned. The development path that must be followed becomes clearly visible so that plans are implemented.
Why is the BSC being implemented:
The company's management receives an effective strategic planning tool.
Conditions are created for personnel development at every level. Employees become more aware of their tasks, and their involvement in productive work increases.
A relationship is established between different areas of activity and management levels. It becomes possible to find a balance between different indicators: financial, business processes, customer service, HR.
Management can use tools not only for operational management of the company, but also for strategic management. Elements of the balanced scorecard system – the strategic map and KPI – allow tracking the company’s current efficiency and the degree of progress towards implementing long-term plans.
