When we talk about how to measure the productivity and efficiency of marketing projects, we are not talking about the KPIs that we use to measure the actions of marketing strategies, those that serve to know if with the actions carried out we are achieving the objectives stipulated for each client. Measuring productivity means evaluating the efficiency of the team in the execution of the projects. The results that the client expected have been achieved, however the project has not been productive since, for example, it has spent more resources than stipulated and with this we can have an unprofitable project within our agency, there have been economic losses for the marketing team, although the client has had a good return on their investment.

Key areas to measure
With all of the above in mind, we can establish a series of key productivity metrics , esinc email database list which can be broken down as follows:

1. Compliance with deadlines : Evaluate whether the project was delivered within the time established in the planning.

2. Cost control : Check if the project was completed within the assigned budget.

3. Delivery of results : Analyze whether the agreed deliverables were generated and whether they met the stated objectives.

If all the metrics were positive and met what was stipulated at the beginning of the project, we would be dealing with efficient management of a marketing project.

What should we measure?
You can get more to the point by breaking down all the aspects that come into play in a marketing project. Below is a list of the most important ones:

• Processes : Identify all processes and tasks within the project to measure its evolution.

• Performance by tasks or objectives : Quantify the current status of each task and process, for example, the time invested or the number of deliveries in a given period.

• Cost of tasks : Evaluate the economic cost of each task and its relationship with the results obtained.

• Standard : Define a comparison standard (reference previous projects) based on deadlines, deliverables and budget, to evaluate actual performance against what was planned.

• Budget : Use tools such as Gantt charts to monitor project timelines and progress, as well as accounting reports to verify budget usage.

• Planning versus reality : Evaluate the differences between what was planned and what was actually executed, adjusting strategies based on this comparison after closing the project or at the end of each stage.

Artificial intelligence and its impact on the productivity of marketing projects
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the way marketing projects are managed, contributing significantly to improved productivity. Some of the key areas where AI is having a direct impact include:

• Predictive analytics : Tools like Google Analytics or HubSpot use AI algorithms to analyze data and predict user behavior, making it easier to make more informed decisions.

• Intelligent automation : AI makes it possible to automate more complex processes, such as campaign personalization or real-time customer tracking, saving time and improving accuracy.

• Process optimization : AI tools like Jasper optimize content creation, market analysis, and reporting processes, significantly reducing the time spent on manual tasks.

Artificial intelligence has entered the marketing sector through the front door, with both detractors and defenders of this new technology. AI has crept into the daily tasks of marketing departments, however, it is not always used intelligently. Although it is true that it automates and supports many tasks, the human part must always have control and make the final decisions. If we focus on marketing projects, implementing this technology can help optimize time and reduce tasks, however, good productivity in a project can only occur after fully understanding how to achieve the set objectives and what the people who are part of our team are like. An intelligent adoption of AI will achieve better results in less time by collaborating in the continuous optimization of processes.
