Mandatory dual certificate certification

All goods exported to Saudi Arabia must apply for and obtain the following through the SABER system:
PCoC (Product Certificate of Conformity): Ensure that the product complies with Saudi technical standards.
SCoC (Batch Shipment Certificate of Conformity): Ensure that the specific batch of goods meets the customs clearance requirements.

The "Undertaking Letter" that could be used in the past will no longer be applicable for customs clearance.

The new regulations clearly stipulate that all operations to apply for SCoC after the goods arrive at the port will be deemed invalid, unable to clear customs, and may even incur a fine for port demurrage.

From January 1, 2025, Spain will implement a new packaging regulation requiring that all goods sold in the Spanish market must be affixed with relevant recycling marks on the packaging.
