What is position zero?
Position zero is that piece of information that appears at the top of the SERPs. It is a summary of the most relevant result, often in the form of a list.

When to aim for position zero

Even with these potential negative aspects of position zero in mind, it's clear that the benefits of this position outweigh the disadvantages. In fact, many of the factors that seem negative on the surface are far from it in reality. Most of the time, trying to achieve position zero will be a good idea. The only exception is when you have content that would be impossible to present in snippet form.
