What they are and how to use them

Post by asimd21 »

In all my years as a copywriter, I've worked with quite a few clients. And I've noticed that many of them have the same problem.

They struggle to understand what benefits their product or service offers their customers.

And I'm not referring to differentiating characteristics from benefits (that's another war).

I'm talking about understanding job seekers data the DEEP benefits.

For example, with online courses.

I don't know how many times I've seen that phrase: " You will have access to a community where there will be other people like you ."

Okay, but… so what?

What does that mean for me as a potential buyer of that course? How will having access to that community change my life?

That's what I mean by “deep benefits.”

And if your copy doesn't answer that question, it's very difficult to spark enough interest for me to decide to buy from you.

That's why this post.

Here I will explain everything you need to know about the benefits of copywriting , including:

What exactly are they?
The differences between features and benefits and what role they both play in the copy.
The process of finding the deep benefits of your product or service.
Grab something to write on, because an important class is coming up.

What do we mean when we talk about benefits in copywriting?
There should be a paragraph here in big letters where I explain what the benefits are for me… but no.

This time I preferred to get out of the way and give way to the real experts.

So I took the fortune teller kit I bought on Amazon and, using my crystal ball, I contacted the greatest copywriters in the Here and Beyond to enlighten me…

Ok ok, that doesn't work. ?

What I actually did was look at all the copywriting books I have at home to see if they said anything about benefits.
