Without any claim to scientificity, I will summarize here what I learned from dedicated readings and seminars on the subject. For those who would like to delve deeper, here are some reference texts: • NeuroMarketing: the nerve of sales by Patrick Renvoisé (Le Lettere 2006) • Neuromarketing by Martin Lindstrom (Apogeo 2008) • Consumer psychology by Olivero Nadia and Russo Vincenzo ( McGraw-Hill 2013 ) • Neuromarketing and cognitive sciences to sell more on the web by Andrea Saletti (Dario Flaccovio Editore 2016) But let's get back to our brain :-) Recent discoveries in the field of neuroscience tell us that the human brain has developed on three layers (through a process of millenary evolution) and each of these parts works and acts with specific modalities, and in others in conflict with the other parts.

Connected systems that constantly operate in mutual collaboration. Onaustralia telegram data this aspect I thank Andrea Saletti who yesterday in Florence, dedicated to the science of persuasion applied to the web , made these differences extremely clear. Recent Brain (hominid or cortical) Let's start with what we know best... The Recent Brain works mainly in a logical and rational way, and deals with the rational processing of information and stimuli . Its characteristics are that it is present only and exclusively in humans (and scientifically it is what distinguishes us from other animals, which makes us rational and human); we use it mainly for advanced cognitive functions (planning, reasoning, studying, problem solving) but also and above all for learning and processing language (speaking, reading, playing, listening to music etc).
