Voice Search – Is your content ready for the verbal revolution?

Post by sakibkhan22197 »

Voice search – or voice-controlled search queries – is becoming an increasingly important topic in SEO circles. However, content marketers do not yet have this topic fully on their radar.

If we look at current developments, we would like to advise all content marketers to quickly get involved in this topic in order to be able to fully exploit the potential of the market.

Search queries via voice control are increasing rapidly
Regardless of whether you look at Google Home, Apple's Siri, Microsoft's Cortana, or canada phone number data Amazon's Alexa, one thing is clear: the graph shows that the slice of the pie represented by search queries made using voice search is growing. Unfortunately, detailed statistics are not currently available, and if there is a detailed study on the topic of voice search, it is difficult to obtain. However, a statement by Sundar Pichai (CEO of Google) is striking: in mid-2016, voice search already accounted for 20% of all search queries made via Google's mobile app. Google's Chinese counterpart, Baido, has also weighed in, reporting that one in ten search queries is now made using voice input.

Usage is expected to continue to grow, as virtual assistants become more widespread and increasingly accepted, primarily thanks to Amazon's Alexa. Furthermore, voice control and speech processing are improving thanks to machine learning, making virtual assistants increasingly useful. We have a self-perpetuating mechanism here: the more people use virtual assistants, the more training data is collected, so the systems become better, more powerful, and more accurate with each individual request.
