Facebook Groups vs. Facebook Pages

Post by sakibkhan22197 »

Simply put, a Facebook Page is the equivalent of a Facebook profile for your business. The social network describes them this way : "Facebook Pages allow people, businesses, organizations, and other entities to authentically establish their public presence on Facebook." Only official brand representatives can create a Facebook Page for the businesses in question.

In contrast, groups "allow users to come together around a common cause, issue, or croatia phone number data activity to organize events, state goals, debate issues, post photos, and share content about it."

Anyone can create a group, which means that even if you haven't done so yourself, there may already be a group dedicated to your brand.

If groups related to your business already exist, it's highly recommended that you get involved in them so you can see what people are saying about you, keep an eye on the conversations, and incorporate a brand perspective. You might even get some ideas for your next product design. (We'll cover more on discovering and accessing existing groups later in this article.) Keep in mind, though, that creating your own official group and having a brand-approved meeting place can help you cultivate relationships with and between your fans, as well as give you more control over the conversations.

Create a Facebook group
Creating a group itself only takes a few clicks. The hardest part will be deciding what your group's goal is and how to achieve it using the various options available. Here's how to get started.

Open the group creation window

Log in to your brand's Facebook Page and click the 'More' icon, represented by an ellipse (...), in the top right corner of the menu bar, below your cover photo. Then select the ' Create Group' option .
