Waynabox is the brainchild of three engineer friends, Pau Sendra, Ferran Blanché and Dani Jiménez, who a few years ago wanted to recover the essence of air travel by creating a startup that would organise low-cost getaways to surprise destinations. When did you realize that it was time to start your own business?

The founders of Waynabox realized that the time had come to start their own business when we were looking for a product on the market that we could enjoy ourselves, and it didn't exist. So we asked ourselves, why not create it?

We wanted to travel in a more spontaneous way, without having to plan much in advance, so we got to work.

What is Waynabox? How did the idea of ​​creating this startup come about and why did you take on the challenge?

We come from a time when planning trips has become cumbersome and boring (airline price fluctuations, endless hotels and reviews...), so we decided to revive the excitement of going to the airport and flying on any plane about to leave.
