Why an equality plan?

Companies must sign an Equality Plan, together with the union representatives. The aim is to guarantee equal treatment and opportunities between men and women and to eliminate discrimination based on sex.
Surely many companies, when considering signing an Equality Plan, have thought that it was not necessary because there is no discrimination in rcs data poland environment. That the reference agreement applies and does not differentiate between men and women.
When the statistics appear, a very different reality emerges. We find male-dominated positions, such as warehouse jobs, IT jobs and generally those jobs related to industry. On the other hand, we can see that the majority of temporary contracts are signed by women.

This situation is not forced by companies, but culturally we are in a moment of change and transformation that we must all adopt.
The Equality Plan helps us to discover in our organizations which positions women are overrepresented . Once this analysis has been carried out, it is time to implement action plans to minimize this situation and achieve equality.
When faced with similar candidacies, we must bear in mind the under-representation of women and apply "positive discrimination."
