New Scores: Page and Domain Authority Score and Site Health

Post by anglehimu »

Site Health in Site Audit
A new Site Health Score now appears in the Site Audit tool . It replaces the Total score. With it, not only can you compare the domains you track and tell which one is technically better, but you can now also compare your site health to the average score for the industry - based on over 1000 different sites in each industry (use the Site Health widget in the Overview Report).

What is Site Health in the Site Audit tool?
The Site Health score is a percentage between 0% and 100% that represents the health of a website. The score is based on the total number of errors and warnings found on crawled pages on the site. Errors have a greater what you will get inside the engineer database impact on the Site Health score than warnings, so if possible, fix errors first.

Tracking your site's Site Health score allows you to see the progress of your SEO campaigns or website changes, report to a client or colleague, and compare to other domains in your industry.

If you want to compare the new status of your site with the total score, you can still do so until March 1, 2020 in the “Progress” report.

From the manual: How the Site Health Score is Calculated in the Site Audit tool.
