This new feature called Google Authorship is used to link the content we publish on a given platform with our Google+ profile. This way, our photo and name will appear as the authors of the content, next to the search result on Google, thus achieving greater visibility and relevance not only for the content but also for its author.
Thanks to this, the linked content will help you as an author to achieve greater visibility on Google, improving your position and that of your content in the lists.
Let's imagine that a user performs a search and clicks on the afghanistan phone number list of the article that was written by you. Normally, they will spend two or three minutes reading the page, then click on the Back button to return to the search results. If we have already linked our content to Google+, these results will now be different.
Below the original result, three links have appeared, these links correspond to the category "Other articles written by Author Blog."
This gives the author's website and its content greater exposure, allowing readers to link the content they like to the person who wrote it.
Google Authorship is still a bit underway. It is said that it still has some issues. The first of these issues is the correct identification of the author of the content. So, Google recommends adding an author line to each piece of content to make it easier to detect.
But when this implementation is fully operational ( which won't be long before ) and the author is directly linked to his content, the benefits will be great. Every time a user returns to the search results after a sufficiently long reading time, related links appear. This will give the author more exposure for his good content, as a reward that is not directly linked to SEO. It is also an interesting advantage not only for the author, because the links that Google pulls can be from the same site.
