Multiple collaborators Instagram collaboration
Previously, Instagram Collabs allowed two accounts to create collaborative Feed posts or videos that were published to both accounts’ feeds. Starting June 30, 2023, collaborations can be created between four accounts.
Our take: The most obvious use case for Collabs is co-creating content with another brand or individual so you can both reach new people through both accounts’ audiences. A less obvious but equally valuable use case is Collabs between accounts owned by the same person or business. An Instagram subscription service has been piloted in the US, allowing creators to monetize their content by placing exclusive Instagram content behind a paywall. On July 24, the platform announced that the subscription service would be available to creators in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, and the United Kingdom in the coming months.
