How to improve WordPress search by including custom fields

Change attribute relevance scope for custom fields and metadata in WordPress
Each custom field has its own application attribute relevance slider, allowing you to control how SearchWP ranks content for your online marketplace, blog, or website.

For example, if you move the slider to the right, the custom field will have more weight. This means it will have a greater impact on where your content appears in search results.

When you are satisfied with your search algorithm settings, scroll to the top of the screen and click the Save button.

SearchWP will now automatically reindex.

Depending on your internet connection speed and WordPress hosting provider, this may take a few minutes.

Once you see "Index Status 100%" you'll know that SearchWP has indexed PDF metadata, custom field metadata, images, files, and any other type of metadata you choose to include in your site search.




Partial match: When this setting is enabled, SearchWP displays results that do not exactly match the visitor's search query. To learn more, check out our tutorial on how to add fuzzy search in WordPress.
When partial matching is enabled, you can also display the closest match when your search yields no results.
"Quote" search: Allows visitors to search for malaysia phone number an exact phrase using a quote.
Highlight terms: Automatically highlight search terms to help visitors find what they are looking for.
To optimize your website for search, it's a good idea to monitor how your visitors use the search function.

This allows you to see what’s working and what isn’t on your WordPress blog, so you can continually improve your site’s search and help your visitors find what they’re looking for.

To view your search history and your most popular search terms, simply select Statistics in the left-hand menu.
