The Facebook app is set to private by default, which means you are the only person who can access the app using Facebook.

Visitors must activate the application before creating a Facebook account. To do this, find the "Application Mode: Development" slider and click on it to activate it. =

Facebook applications may have "standard access" or "enhanced access" to your information. If your app has a standard login, visitors won't be able to log in using the Facebook social login.

In the past, Facebook has changed the default settings for permissions, so it's always worth checking that your app has the correct permissions to support social login.

In the left menu we navigate to the "Permissions" section.

At this point, you need to check the "email" and "public_profile" permissions.

To support social login, both permissions must be marked "Enhanced Access" and "Ready for Use" as shown in the image below.

Do you see the Get Advanced Access button? This means your application does not have the correct permissions to access social media.
