Following your competitors' mentions will help you understand what works best for them and apply their best practices to your own brand.
Start by checking out what the most popular sources are and which authors are talking about your competition so you can reach out to them and tell them about your products or services.
You can use the Brand Monitoring tool in the following ways:
Set up two campaigns — the first for your brand and the second for your competition.
Go to the “Statistics” tab to compare the overall number of mentions of your brand to the number of mentions of yours over a given time period.

Scroll down to “Top Domains” to find those websites that mention your competitor but not your brand.
Pay special attention to those that have backlinks pointing to your competitor's website by changing the “Mentions” button to “Backlinks” at the top left.
Analyze each source and check its monthly traffic to locate the ones with the greatest authority.

To find relevant forums and influencers, you need to go to the “Mentions” tab.
Pay attention to mentions coming from forums with the largest number of threads, as well as those influencers with the largest number of followers/subscribers.

Tag mentions from sources and authors of your choice so you can quickly locate them later using the filters in the custom tabs.

By monitoring what consumers are saying about your brand, you can better communicate with them and see how it is perceived from their perspective so you can find out what they love, hate or feel about your product.
Their conversations will give you valuable insights that will allow you to improve your product or change the way you communicate with your customers. It will also allow you to create more detailed ideal customer profiles.
Using Brand Monitoring allows you to:
Evaluate overall sentiment of mentions — compare positive vs. negative mentions in the email database marketing swiss “Overview” tab.
Click on each type of sentiment to see the filtered mentions one by one.

View associations for your brand/product by searching for a specific word alongside your brand in the “Mentions” tab.

Add tags to selected mentions, such as “new feature” so you can return to them later.
